Christina Brewer has been selected as the 2022-2023 Celia Clinton Elementary Teacher of the Year!
This is Christina's third year at Celia Clinton where she is the kindergarten Spanish teacher in the dual language program.
"I love watching my students grow each and every day, and I love seeing their smiles when they learn something new," she said.
Christina said she has known since she was five years old that she wanted to be a teacher and was inspired by the teachers in her life to pursue her dream.
"I was blessed with having such hard working, inspiring, and caring teachers growing up. They taught me so much more than academics, and school was enjoyable because of them. I wanted to be for my students what my teachers were for me. Someone who is empowering, nurturing, and knowledgable."
